    These tools are your ultimate study buddies, designed to help you plan your prep time like a pro. Aim to study for at least 2.5 hours a day, breaking it down into 30-minute chunks. Focus most of your time on dogs, cats, horses, and cows, but don't forget about the other critters!

    Also, don't forget sign up for our free 12-week course and commit to it. Each week, join us for a live specialist lesson on Sunday evening at 8pm EST, where an expert will cover common diseases and guide you through sample test questions, explaining how to determine the correct answers.

    Additionally, we meet again on Wednesdays at 8pm EST to go through practice tests, discussing strategies and identifying clues in the questions to help you excel on test day.

Crush the NAVLE with These Insider Test-Taking Hacks You Need to Know!

  • Familiarize yourself with the NAVLE’s structure. The exam consists of 360 multiple-choice questions, divided into six blocks of 60 questions each. You have 65 minutes per block, with a total of 7.5 hours to complete the exam, including scheduled breaks. Knowing the format helps you manage your time effectively during the exam.

  • During the exam, keep an eye on the clock. Aim to spend about one minute per question. If you're stuck, mark the question and move on. Return to it later if time permits. This strategy ensures you answer more questions and don’t get bogged down.

  • The NAVLE exam includes questions on various species, each contributing a different percentage to the overall content. Here's the breakdown:

    • Canine: 25.6%

    • Feline: 24.3%

    • Equine: 14.7%

    • Bovine: 13.3%

    • Porcine: 5%

    • Small Mammals: 3.3%
