Discover How Horses Can Transform Mental Health: Zoetis Champions Innovative Campaign

Exciting news in the world of equine therapy and mental wellness! Zoetis U.S. Equine Division proudly announces its ongoing partnership as the Title Sponsor for the 2024 Seen Through Horses Campaign. This influential collaboration with Horses for Mental Health (HMH) promises to extend the reach and effectiveness of equine-assisted services across the United States.

Since initiating the Seen Through Horses Campaign in 2022, Zoetis has been instrumental in raising substantial funds, totaling $180,000, which have directly supported 80 nonprofit organizations across 36 states. These organizations utilize the therapeutic potential of horses to address various mental health issues, promoting personal growth and healing.

Jen Grant, the Head of Marketing at Zoetis U.S. Equine Division, shares her enthusiasm, "At Zoetis, we deeply understand the unique bond between humans and horses — a language of mutual understanding and respect. It's our privilege to support the dedicated organizations that harness the healing power of horses to foster holistic well-being."

The Seen Through Horses Campaign is a peer-to-peer initiative designed to boost public awareness, engagement, and funding, thereby improving access to mental health services that incorporate horses. Scheduled to run throughout May to coincide with Mental Health Awareness Month, the campaign aims to showcase the critical role horses play in mental health and personal development.

Lynn Thomas, LCSW, co-founder of Horses for Mental Health, emphasizes the campaign's goals, "Our mission is clear — to make horse-assisted mental health treatments a known, accessible, and effective option for everyone. The participating organizations are on the front lines, transforming lives and helping to alleviate the mental health crisis with these essential services."
